Our Story
In 2010, Mark Groeneweg and Preston Kooima became friends. Soon, real life questions became real life conversations. Always at the heart of these conversations were; “what are we doing and why?”
These life purpose questions drove them to pursue endeavors that aligned with their faith. At the core, three values emerged; stewardship, innovation, and people. They would begin investing in and committing resources in stewarding what God created. The means by which this would be done is by focusing on innovation and people. No matter what the product or service is, if it checks these boxes, then they are; “all in”.
On March 12, 2022, Mark and Preston literally signed their names to these values. Within a month, unknown to them, the team was being shown the path. Along with their wives, Mark and Preston took a trip to Denver Colorado over Easter to attend services at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre. One morning, Preston was going through his morning ritual of coffee while in a hotel lobby. While on his laptop, he saw out of the corner of his eye a truck he had never seen before, coming down the street. The truck had a giant roller attached. Never seeing such a truck, the research and vetting process started. From this research, emerged Wreck-n-Roll. Exactly one year later after signing their commitment, Wreck-n-Roll served their first customer. Coincidence? Never. Meant to be? Absolutely.
Wreck-n-Roll is a trash compaction company that will get the air out of your trash, reduce dumpster costs, and decrease truck visits to the landfill. In doing this, we believe Sioux Falls and our world is a better place for it. Wreck-n-Roll is here to make an impact……literally!
